Is Obama Ready To Be President?

Was Bill Clinton's unwillingness to state simply that Obama was ready to be president a sign that there is still a rift between the Clinton's & Obama? Or, was the president simply speaking in terms of his experience in the White House. Bill Clinton's reply to the question of whether Barack Obama was ready to serve as president, "You're never ready to serve" (semi quote). Liberals wanted a simple yes to that question. Conservatives are tickled pink that they didn't get it. Calculated dodge or simply an understanding based on his own experience. You'll have to tell me.
