MSNBC is replacing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as co-anchors of political night coverage with David Gregory, and will use the two newsmen as commentators.
Thank Goodness! What took so long!!! Mr. Shivers up one leg and Olbermann made journalism look bad. Well, let me be a little more generous. Chris Matthews could at least look professional. Olbermann, perhaps he lost his way a long time ago. I think he could be a serious newsman. I hope he decides to be so again one day.
Rachel Maddow will have her own show that I believe will be up against Hannity & Colmes. I have a lot of respect for her, but I'm getting a sense that she may slide down Olbermann's path. I hope not. She should find a legitimate news shop, she has a lot to offer - and I think when she's being impartial, she adds a lot to the discussion. It's the same with Chris Matthews, when he's in journalism mode - he's really good.
I'm a democrat, and eventually MSNBC even got on my nerves. Good grief!!! Who's running things over there? Are they awake?
